Kalari
Kalari is a traditional artisanal cheese made by Gujjar shepherds in the mountains of Kashmir. Often called the “mozzarella of the Himalayas,” it is semi‑soft, stretchy, and develops a golden, crispy crust when pan‑seared while staying gooey inside. To maintain freshness, Kalari is kept frozen in sealed packets. Each 500 g pack contains approximately 5–7 pieces, while the 250 g pack contains about 2–3 pieces — perfect for both families and individual gourmets.
